Conference Venue

The conference is hosted at Gothenburg University’s School of Global Studies, Campus Linné in the “Annedalseminariet.”

The campus is located near Linnéplatsen situated with a beautiful garden aligned with cherry trees that perhaps will be in bloom at the time of the conference. Overlooking the garden is the grand yellow building, Annedalseminariet.

Linnéplatsen is the gateway to Slottskogen for a jog or stroll before or after conference activities.

You can also catch buses and trams at Linnéplatsen to get you around the rest of the city. From Drottningtorget/centralstation you can easily catch for example tram 1 or 2 to Linnéplatsen.

The Conference Dinner Venue

The conference dinner will be held at Blå Huset. It is located on the hill just behind Campus Linné at Konstepedimin. Please email the conference email address if you have any dietary requirements or allergies so we can notify the restaurant and catering businesses.

 

Restaurants and Pubs

There are plenty of  restaurants and pubs to visit within the area. A stroll along Linnégatan will tempt any hungry or thirsty conference visitor.

Just take a walk down Övre Husargatan or down to Linnégatan and its crossing streets Nordenskiöldsgatan and Oliviedalsgatan to find restaurants, pubs and cafés.

On campus you will find a small café on campus in the Annedal Building and also a good lunch restaurant at the Department of Psychology located across the street of Konstepedimins väg.

Don’t forget to pack a lunch or grab a quick sandwich on Friday however if you wish to join the City Walk Tour at 13:00 from the front of the Annedal Building!

 

Accommodation in Gothenburg

There are several hotels, hostels and B&Bs to choose from in Gothenburg. We recommend booking as early as possible because Gothenburg hosts many events year round.
